Ms. Reese is an APS All-Star!

Tinequa Reese – Arlington Career Center

Tinequa is an integral part of our faculty at Arlington Career Center. She works hard to meet the needs of each and every learner in her classroom through creative, engaging, thorough, and careful lesson planning.

Additionally, Tinequa sponsors Sister Circle, which brings young women of color together for leadership and community. Through Sister Circle, she has organized several incredible events and guest speakers to inspire our students and help them create a vision for their futures, including Black Girls Code and HERstory.

In addition to her involvement in our students’ futures, she is also a trusted confidante and professional in the present. Tinequa supports our students in a variety of ways, conducting restorative circles and serving as a trusted adult for many of our most vulnerable students.

She is truly an APS All Star!
