Arlington Tech 9th Grader Earns Award at VA State Science & Engineering Fair

Congratulations to all APS students who participated in the Virginia State Science and Engineering Fair (VSSEF), which was hosted by Piedmont Valley Community College in Charlottesville on April 5.

We want to congratulate Marek Sundqvist (Arlington Tech) who earned Honorable Mention in the Animal Sciences category for his presentation on The Effect of Substrate Grain Size on Antlion Larvae Funnel Building Efficiency.

Thank you to his science teacher, Mary Knight, for support of Marek’s experiment.
