Three ACC students selected for 2024-25 Summer Residential Governor’s School and World Language Academies

Congratulations to Arlington Tech program students, Olive Jeng, Dagny Schnitger, and Lauren Sproles! The students were among 35 APS students who have been invited to participate in the Summer Residential Governor’s School for Academics, Mentorship, Visual and Performing Arts, and World Language Academies. They will participate in the following programs:

Summer Residential Governor’s Schools for Academics, Mentorship and Visual and Performing Arts for Arlington Tech:

Olive Jeng, Marine Science

Dagny Schnitger, Agriculture

Summer Residential Governor’s World Language Academies for Arlington Tech:

Lauren Sproles, Latin

About the Summer Residential Governor’s School Programs: Summer Residential Governor’s Schools provide high school rising juniors and seniors in Virginia with intensive educational experiences in one specialty area of interest in visual and performing arts; humanities; medicine and health sciences; mathematics, science, and technology; or through mentorships in marine science, or engineering. Summer Residential World Language Academies offer full-immersion academies in French, German and Spanish, Japanese and Latin.
