Py.grlpower Club Present at PyCon 2025

A group of Arlington Tech students presented at PyCon US 2025 on Thursday, May 14th.

All female computer science students, the participants make up the Py.grlpwr Club . The girls are gaining hands-on experience, learning from tech leaders, and growing as future STEM innovators through a dynamic and inspiring conference. In this picture, they posed with Python Inventor, Guido van Rossum, who joined them for breakfast and conversation. PyCon US offers a whole host of events such as the Job Fair, Summits, Open Spaces, and PyLadies Auction, and don’t forget about the ‘hallway’ track, which brings together Python users from around the world for individuals interested in the field of Computer Science.
