APS Students Compete in AI Social Engineering Competition sponsored by Temple University

Trinity University is hosting the 2026 AI Social Engineering Competition and we are excited to cheer on three APS students participating this year.

Graham is a 10th grader in the Arlington Tech program.  He is hoping to get into the cybersecurity field in the future. Two favorite hobbies are track and soccer, and he has a pet dog.  He is joined by two APS students who attend ACC (soon to be the Grace Hopper Center) part-time.

Nikolai is a high school student looking to pursue a career in cybersecurity who is interested in software development. Currently studying for the CompTIA A+ Certification, and looking for opportunities to improve his technical knowledge and skills. Daniel is a cybersecurity student interested in programming and electrical engineering. He spends his free time working on apps and playing guitar.

The theme for the 2026 competition is “AI-Enhanced Social Engineering Attacks on a Community-Based Pharmacy.”  Learn more about the theme here.
