Summer Information for Students

Summer Assignments:  Summer assignments aim to help students maintain their skills and prepare for the next level of academic content. These assignments are posted on the Arlington Tech website under the tab “Summer Assignments.”  The assignments are listed by content, and if a class is not listed, there is no assignment. You can find the page here.

New Student Orientation:  We will have our new student orientation on August 27th at 10am.  This will be a time when students can walk through their schedules to find their classes.  Any information we give on this day will also be repeated on the first day of school.

APS MacBooks:  All incoming 9th graders will receive a MacBook, as will any student new to APS. Students can pick up a laptop at the Columbia Pike Library from 11am-3pm on August 3, August 10, or August 17. Laptops will also be available for pick up at New Student Orientation on August 27th.

School Supplies: Often, parents have questions about the school supplies their students will need. We do not send out a supply list prior to the start of school. Teachers will let students know what is needed in their specific classes during the first week of school.
