Arlington Tech Seniors Earn College Degrees and Certificates

The Arlington Tech, Governor’s STEM Academy at the Arlington Career Center graduating class of 2025 includes an unprecedented number of students earning college degrees and certificates.

Before walking the stage for high school graduation, 19 Arlington Tech students representing 20% of the senior class  are graduating with associate degrees from Northern Virginia Community College. Through dual enrollment credit, these seniors have earned A.S.s or A.A.s in science, computer science, liberal arts, and general studies. An additional 8 are graduating with Unified Certificates of General Studies (UCGS) which represents 1 year of college credit.
