Arlington Career Center Students Win Statewide Video Contest

The Arlington Career Center is proud to announce that our students in Mr. Tom O’Day’s  TV Production team won First Place in the Virginia School Boards Association’s 2025 High School Student Video Contest. The team includes two Arlington Tech students, Ula Olson and Peyton Bristow.

The winning video, Champions Are Everywhere,” was selected from entries submitted across Virginia and recognized during the 2025 VSBA Annual Convention in Williamsburg.

The 30-second video highlights the everyday champions, teachers, staff, families, and peers, who make APS a place where students can thrive. The project showcases the strength of the Career Center’s digital media programs and the power of student storytelling.
