Career and Technical Education (CTE) Courses

Arlington Tech Students and CTE

Arlington Tech is located at the Arlington Career Center (ACC), the CTE center for Arlington Public Schools.  Our location at ACC means Arlington Tech students have greater access to the unique CTE courses offered in our building, and student’s course pathways are built on sequenced CTE courses.

CTE courses are electives that give students the opportunity to gain authentic knowledge and skills connected to specific career paths.  In these classes, students have access to experts, mentors, and industry-recognized technology, giving them access to authentic learning opportunities.  Our students graduate having “experimented” in various career fields and can envision how their coursework applies to their future plans.
